With the name of "Teamgeist" the creators of the ball wanted to remind that one of the most important components of success in World Cup it's "team spirit". Translated from the German word team means "command" and geist - "spirit".

The ball is made with 14 external panels, that's fetch to descreasing of joints on 60%. It's aims to improve accuracy of stroke and improve ball control. The design has undergone significant changes compared with its predecessor.
