The Duplo T Superball was the official match ball of the 1950 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. It was a revolutionary ball that did not have any laces, unlike the previous models. It was inflated with a pump and needle valve through a small hole in the leather. The ball was made of 12 curved panels of leather and had a company logo and text printed on it. The ball was named after the Super Duplo T, a model that was used in the Argentine championship since the 1930s.
